Nel panorama dell’innovazione industriale e della sostenibilità ambientale, il remanufacturing emerge come un pilastro fondamentale per la transizione verso pratiche produttive più circolari. Qui Alberto Baesso, Philippe Baesso, Giulio Mancini, Francesca Immorlica, Giuseppe Crapa e Matteo Volpato hanno fondato l’anno scorso la Sir -Società italiana remanufacturing- instaurando partnership con centri di ricerca e istituzioni accademiche di spicco, per affrontare le sfide e sfruttare le opportunità del remanufacturing, sia nel settore dell’illuminazione che in altri ambiti industriali.

Questa iniziativa non solo promuove la sostenibilità ambientale e l’innovazione tecnologica, ma potrebbe rappresentare anche un’opportunità di sviluppo economico per una regione come la Sicilia, tradizionalmente meno centralizzata nell’ambito manifatturiero
