I giorni tra l’8 ed il 10 aprile, SIR ha partecipato attivamente alla conferenza internazionale del remanufacturing, ICoR – International Conference of Remanufacturing – dove ha presentato il suo progetto “Lighting Remanufacturing”. Durante le tre giornate, diversi sono stati gli esperti del settore ed i ricercatori, provenienti da varie parti del mondo, che hanno presentato i loro progetti ed i loro punti di vista. I temi toccati comprendevano la procedura e le varie sfide che il processo di remanufacturing sta affrontando. In particolare:
- l’eco-design e la modularità dei componenti
- le tecnologie innovative per il disassemblaggio e il riassemblaggio;
- l’utilizzo del DDP, Digital Product Passport, come strumento fondamentale al fine di supportare l’implementazione di un sistema in grado di favorire la raccolta dei dati necessari alla realizzazione del processo;
- l’LCA analysis ovvero l’analisi del ciclo del ciclo di vita dei prodotti che hanno subito il processo di remanufacturing per sottolinearne i benefici;
- la reverse logistics, la logistica del ritorno, per favorire l’approvvigionamento di prodotti per l’esecuzione della strategia di estensione di vita.
Non sono mancati interventi incentrati sul consumatore, analizzando la percezione di questi e le motivazioni per le quali acquistare o non acquistare un prodotto dopo l’esecuzione del processo.
L’evento è stato ricco di momenti di condivisione e di possibilità di creare nuovi contatti.
SIR, unico gruppo italiano, ha presentato il suo progetto di ricerca nel settore dell’illuminazione. Il progetto è stato presentato da Benedetta Zarpellon, uno dei membri della nostra società. Sono stati presentati alcuni casi di studio e le difficoltà incontrate nell’implementazione del remanufacturing nell’industria dell’illuminazione, considerando WayPoint s.r.l come azienda di riferimento.
L’impegno di SIR al fine di realizzare ed integrare il remanufacturing nel settore dell’illuminazione è costante: la Società, infatti, sta portando avanti molti progetti in collaborazione con ricercatori e studenti universitari italiani.
L’obiettivo è di continuare l’opera di sensibilizzazione sul tema e trovare soluzioni concrete da poter attuare. Il processo di remanufacturing come metodo per estendere la vita dei prodotti rimane un orizzonte importante verso cui l’Associazione vuole dirigersi.
